Kaci looked to Lilly knowing that when things started to happen she would be hiding off somewhere, or maybe even back on the other side of the wall.

Morik sighed and shook his head, following Lilly's example and moving what had happened behind them. "Looks like we're in the same boat Lilly." He had to see this "boss" too, but as eager as he was to get his mission done he was quite enjoying the chance to prolong his suicide goal. At least he'd have some good memories.

She looked up at him as she sighed with a little annoyance. "Your still going to go through that suicide mission Tinman. Why don't you just forget about it and take care of the people you met so far. That fits your personality." She said as she took another sip of her water.

Kaci would lean over taking the last piece, her tail would hold onto his a little tighter before she looked at the others. "Why deal with things like that? Killing only leads to more killing and death, people here would be sad if something like that was to happen.

-Sel felt kaci's tail tighten around his and set down the chopsticks and turned to her and wraped an arm around her- "it happens to try and make this city a better place if they werent i probably wouldnt have brought them into the city Kaci"

Morik went silent for a moment as he thought about what was said. Why WAS he doing this....Why was he willing to give his life away to destroy the research facility? Was it for revenge, or was it actually to try and save anyone from future torture...Or was it because he had nothing else to do but rot away? He sighed shaking his head. He didn't know anymore, and when the time came he'd figure it out. But for now, he'd enjoy the time he had with his friends. "I don't know Lilly. I'll tell you my answer when even I know it." He sidhed, smiling down at her.

Lilly grunted as she finished her water and set it down. Why would she care anyway? He was just here for the same reason, to kill some bastards that screwed him over. She then looked at Kaci. "Sis that's what I do. I kill people that is how I was raised. That what world I am in, kill or be killed. And Sel is right once I kill this bastard the world will be a better place."

Kaci lowered her ears flat on her head before she sighed softly, lightly nuzzling into Sel since he was now holding her, when she seen what she was doing she stopped and hide her face for she was blushing once again.

Morik smiled and watched them, happy to call them all friends, but then the conversation Lilly had in the alleyway came up in his mind. "Hey, Lilly. What are you gonna do once you get outta here?" He asked her, wondering what she was gonna do anyway.

Lilly stayed silent for a second as she glanced at the man her face getting a little concerned as she chuckled and leaned back. "Probably fall in love raise a family. Who knows I'll be finally free from my past sins." She giggled and crossed her arms over her chest.

Kaci finally looked up at Sel before looking to the others, she would smile hearing Lilly's plans. "Lilly and Morik should get together."

"Heh, Lilly come now...We all know you won't let anybody into your heart." Morik chuckled before laughing at what Kaci had said. It did indeed sound like a good thought, but the way he envisioned things happening it was way too far fetched. "Nice dream Kaci, but I don't know if I could stand waking up to the barrel of a gun everyday." He teased, smirking at Lilly.
