I'm interested in how sneaking back and forth is an "easy" effort though. Guards still need bypassing." He replied, noticing the ears changing direction.

"well then maybe ill just help you but any favor my boss asks for you must do without question if you do that i will get you into the city" -sel said as he changed direction heading off in the direction where the canyon was by the wall were the bottom was filled with sewage no one went there because it stunk-

"Yea, We'll see about that." He answered as he noticed where they were going, instantly realizing where this was both by sight and by the fact that the stench was so powerful he was starting to feel nauseated as they got closer. "The sewers? You go through that?" He asked while trying to not gag. How did this man resist the smell.

-sel tossed the man something green as sel put some in his nose it was spearmint- "use this it will help you tolerate the smell sorry but this was the only way i foundout i could use after three years of trying to get inside the city from all angles" -he reached his small canyon that lead to the cliff that was a giant gap leading over to the citys wall and he took off running at a spead of 30 miles per hour and then leaped the gap and then fell through the air and landing in the sewer tunnel a good ten feet down from where he had jumped from and stood there waiting looking back to see if morik would follow-

Morik caught the green leaf in his hand and then grimaced when he saw it. "Yea, I know what this is..." He sighed as he reluctantly put it in his nose, took a few wiffs, then sneezed from it, barely managing to keep it in. When he looked back up from the sneeze he saw the man running extremely fast, and then leap across the gap like a freaking frog. After taking that in he walked to the edge and looked down the gap, then over to the man. "Well this is just great...." He mumbled before taking quite a few steps back, then sprinted as hard as he can, only hitting about half the speed as the other but getting a few feet higher of a jump thanks to his suit and chemical augmentations, although that still only allowed him to reach over and grab onto the sewage pipe, swinging there as he held on with both hands and began to pull himself up.

-sel leaned over the edge and offered him his other hand to take so he could pull him up- "here take my hand you dont want to fall into that stuff and have to climb back up here" -he said chuckling as his tail flicked about his looking like a ribbon in the wind but there was no wind-

He looked at the hand for a second before reaching up and taking it, using it as leverage to pull himself up into the pipe and get to his feet. "Yea, I hear ya." He chuckled a little, rolling his shoulders and then looking over the ledge, then back to the catman. "Sel, was it? Thanks. Pretty impressive sprint and leap." He complimented, a rarity nowadays from him.

-sel helped him up and inside once he wasin sel stood up and streatched and started walking down the tunnel heading for the enterance ladder leading up to the slums- "yeah my names Sel and thanks for the compliment you might want to follow me and stay close its hard for most people to see down here dont want you getting lost" -sel hide his tail and ears preparing for himself entering the slums-

"My eyes aren't just light beacons you know." He replied as he walked on, seeing perfectly fine through the darkness, however it had a slight reddish hue in his sight. Normal light is fine, but once it starts getting darker his vision starts turning redder to the point he was now seeing as if it was a brightish red, but everything was red. He was practically colorblind in the dark. "How far is it until the slums?" He asked as he followed Sel into the tunnels.

-sel continued walking looking back at morik over his shoulders and shrugged looking back where he was going- "i never really measured distance it usually takes me a minute to get there when im alone with someone in tow about four i think though to find the asylum just look for the tallest building in the slums and swing by sometime tell them i sent you they should let you in to see nico"

"You do realize my intention wasn't to sneak around as much as get in any means possible, right?" He cocked his head slightly and continued looking around. "As far as I'm concerned this 'Nico' will most likely have too high of demands. Me getting him to help is as likely as the guards letting me waltz right back into the labs a-" He stopped himself short, realizing he was starting to roll into a past relapse.

"labs what labs" -Sel was curious and like the saying said curiosity killed the cat as they finally reached the ladder and he stood there blocking the ladder and there were four otheres they had passed- "well he will ask for a favor in return for helping you get deaper into the city and when he calls on that favor you will repay your debt or we will keep piling it on until we decide you belong to us"

"You think you can own me?" Morik laughed in amusement before stopping and staring him in the eyes, uncaring about the ladder now. "The scientists and leaders thought they owned me. Thought I was their guinea pig for experimentation. They were wrong, and now I'm out here. If it's a price that you want out of me then I'll turn right back around, head back to the wall, and begin climbing up just as I was before I met you. I will NOT be claimed anymore." He sneered at the man, getting ready to either climb or walk. He knew a way in at least now.

-sel stood there and sighed- "then pay back your debt to me or at least visit my boss sometime im tired of not getting payed i need to make a living you know" -sel climbed up the lader and out of the sewers into the dark alley hidden in the slums and walked out onto the wider streat waiting for morik and then pointed towards the nothingness asylum- "thats where you will find me and nico my boss"

Morik watched him climb, then looked around and made his way up the ladder. Once up he walked up next to Sel and looked where he was pointing, making sure to memories the buildings location before he nodded and turned back to the pothole, waiting to get back in. "Alright thanks. Let's head back now."
